Sunday Edit: The Breakfast Nook

Weekends are the perfect time for project planning and inspiration hunting, so I’ve decided to make Sundays a day for posting targeted inspo-photo roundups.

Today’s being the very first!

My husband and I are in the middle of planning out our next house projects, and a reno of our breakfast nook space is at the top of my list at the moment.

I love that a breakfast nook is essentially a space in your home dedicated to comfort and family time and reflection. It’s where I picture myself having a cup of coffee and reading a magazine or doing my devotional in the morning before everyone else wakes up. It’s where we can all gather to have pancakes on Saturday mornings. Where the kids can do homework, art projects, puzzles…

Like I said, it’s comfort.

But that’s enough of my rambling. Let’s get on to the photos. I’ve split these into three categories: light and airy, moody, and color. In case you haven’t noticed, I’m big on categorizing things.
