Happy Sunday! It’s been pretty chilly here in Charleston lately. We even had a few snow flurries make an appearance yesterday morning! But wherever you are, I hope that you’re able to find some time to relax with a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy discovering these fun shops in Charleston.
Buxton Books

I’ve been making it a point to 100% buy my books from local bookstores. Buying online may be quick and easy, but it just can’t replace the experience and joy of browsing a good bookstore. And Buxton Books has created a beautiful space to browse in, with a thoughtfully curated collection of books.
Etú Home

Stepping inside Etú Home is like walking into a beautiful, French home. And you’ll leave with the prettiest pieces and feeling inspired to host the next get-together for your family or friends.
Under The Almond Trees

This sweet shop is the prettiest baby, kids, and maternity boutique. It’s three floors of everything you need if you’re an expecting or new parent. Check out Under the Almond Trees here.
The Hidden Countship

As someone who lived in Italy for a period, this shop brings me so much joy. The Hidden Countship is located on Burns Street, just off the bustle of King Street. This place has the perfect collection of Italian linens, jewelry, and other hand-picked decor and apparel that you can’t find anywhere else in Charleston. And the couple who own it are absolutely wonderful. I wrote a separate post all about The Hidden Countship that you can read here!
Lake Pajamas

This place has the coziest sleepwear and loungewear for men, women, and children. If you’re working from and are looking for something comfy to wear around the house, or are planning a weekend getaway and want something to relax in, Lake Pajamas is your spot.
Candlefish

Candlefish is a unique candle shopping experience with a library of 100 candles poured by hand either in store or in their facility in Charleston. The candles are intentionally label-free so that your nose alone can make the decision about the scent that is best for you. They also offer candle-making workshops where you can mix your own creations – a perfect experience to include on your trip to Charleston.
Christophe Artisan Chocolatier

Christophe’s is my go-to place for delicious pastries and sweet treats while downtown. Christophe is a third-generation chocolatier from France and his creations are both mouthwatering and beautiful. The shop also has some non-sweet items like baguettes and baguette sandwiches, made fresh daily. And they offer French press coffee and a great selection of teas. There’s a small sitting area on the second floor of the shop and a courtyard in the back if you want to sit down to enjoy your treats.
House of Nomad

This is another great home store on King Street. House of Nomad has the best selection of travel inspired decor, hand-selected by the founders from places like Bali, Thailand, Mexico and Africa. If you like for your home to reflect your love of traveling the world, then this store is bound to get you excited.
Beau & Ro

This women’s clothing store stocks the most on-trend, Charleston style clothes, accessories, and even a few decor pieces. If you’re looking for an extra special dress for a wedding or trip, then Beau & Ro is a great place to look.
Wynsum Antiques & Interiors

Charleston has some of the best antique stores, and I’ve always loved a good antique store, so this list had to include at least one! Wynsum Antiques is the best place to get lost and browse among beautiful things.
